Wellbeing

I need to keep myself busy for my own mental wellbeing.  At present, I am lucky to have Identify HR to keep me busy and focussed.  However, I have planned in time for my own development during this time.  I have signed up for a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioners course.  NLP is the study of excellence and is fast becoming recognised as one of the best cutting-edge tools for personal and professional development.  I am looking forward to seeing where this course takes me and how I apply it. 

Employee well-being is now a priority for every HR professional and business.  Covid has affected everyone differently, people’s attitudes are different.  People have all been impacted differently both mentally, professionally and financially.  There is no one size fits all approach to how we tackle this but a good start for everyone would be to talk to their people to find out their concerns.  Dependant on your relationship with your employees you may get more out of doing an anonymous survey using Survey Monkey for example.  Whatever, you do please do not do a google and copy and paste the questions that are out there for anyone to use.  They may fit but they may not.  Think what matters to your business, to your people and ensure it is tailored to that.  If you need some support with this, please do connect with me.
