The food manufacturing industry is highly regulated and therefore it would be ideal if you had this type of experience, if not, Aquascot would invest the time and training to provide you with this experience.
What is more important is that you come with the following skills, experience, and aspirations:
- process engineering experience gained with a LEAN manufacturing environment e.g. improving yield.
- Data analysis skills; you will be able to interpret data to make an informed business decision on preventative maintenance
- New product development (NPD) experience; you will support Aquascot with input into the best systems and process to achieve efficiencies in any new product launch.
- Interpersonal skills to challenge the norm and bring people with you on the continuous improvement journey.
- Post COVID-19, you will be happy to travel to trade shows and exhibitions to learn about new machinery etc to advise on if it will add value to Aquascot.
- Comfortable working at both a strategic level (future-proofing) and hands-on, doing what it takes to make Aquascot successful. The company is employee-owned.
The production runs 6 days per week so you will need to be comfortable carrying out trials either on an evening or on a Sunday. You will be in charge of your own diary.
Aquascot has enjoyed partnering with Waitrose for over 20 years and has enjoyed many successes along the way. They now want to achieve more, are you the person to help them achieve this?
If so, do drop us your CV at Aquascot@i-dentify-solutions.com or call us on 01688 320620 for an informal discussion. We look forward to hearing from you.
